For CPU, OS WIN7 × 64
We use two versions of programs that run on processors with X11 algorithm. If your processor supports AVX / AES instruction sets, use cpuminer-1.3. If not, use cpuminer-1.2c.
Cpuminer-1.3 has several miners for different processors, you need to choose one that is suitable for your processor.

 

Below is an example of processor settings:
1. Intel Core 2 Duo E7200, 2533 MHz
2. APU A6-6400K, 3900 MHz

To view supported instruction sets we used Everest.
1. According to specification you can see that there is no support for AVX, or AES. Download the cpuminer-1.2c. Unpack the archive and create a batch file in the folder with the following data:
minerd-a X11 -o <host>:<port> -u <user> -p <password>
Run the batch file and get on the Intel Core 2 Duo E7200, 2533 MHz processor: ~ 76 kHash/s (~ 38 kHash/s per core).

2. For processor APU A6-6400K, 3900 MHz download the cpuminer-1.3. Unpack the archive and create in the folder a batch file with the following data:
minerd-bdver1 -a X11 -o <host>:<port> -u <user> -p <password>
Here you need to use the core minerd-bdver1 which supports AMD processors.
Run the batch file and get on APU A6-6400K, 3900 MHz processor: ~ 100 kHash/s (~ 50 kHash/s per core).

for GPU use sgminer 4.1.0, OS WIN7 × 64

in the settings you must specify the core -k darkcoin (-k darkcoin -o <host>:<port> -u <user> -p <password>).

 

Below are some grphic cards and their settings as an example of what you can get:
We used sgminer 4.1.0
AMD Radeon HD 8470D(AMD A6-6400K) (—gpu-engine 800 —gpu-memclock 800 -I 18) — 0.2 MHash/s;
AMD Radeon HD 5870(ASUS): (—gpu-engine 900 —gpu-memclock 1100 -I 20) — 1.27 MHash/s;
AMD Radeon HD 7970(MSI) (—gpu-engine 1050 —gpu-memclock 1690 —thread-concurrency 24000 -I 20) — 2.14 MHash/s;
AMD Radeon R9 290(Ref, BIOS от Stilt) (—gpu-engine 980 —gpu-memclock 1450 -I 20) — 2.4 MHash/s;

In these examples we did not intend to find the best performance.

 

 

Conclusion:
The memory and processor (GPU) temperature is significantly lower comparing to Scrypt algorithm.
The description of X11 algorithm as processor-friendly is not entirely correct, although average cost equipment was used .
